Is for a load of members to sign up for the express purpose of giving me a hard time about how long it has taken me to build this site and replace the old one.

Having some dates in the date section would be really useful - top of my head - date for the Annual Dinner and maybe a few dates for fishing trips

The dates are all posted now. You'll find them here. Book em up.

Could we have a where to purchase/dig/obtain good bait section and make it countrywide ?.as well as blacklisted suppliers ?

        Hi Nick,

We could do. If you've got suggestions, then I could create a page for it, and give everyone access to add new info. But we'd need some info to start it off, otherwise it'll look a bit sad.

      Ben,

As sea fishing is rubbish can we have a coarse/game section?

What would you like to see in these sections? Tips? Hints? Pictures of 40lb River XXXXXXXX pike? We can have whatever would be useful to us or to the world in general.

Maybe just a "coarse" or "Foreign Adventures" type section where people can share any info they want? A review section where you can talk about gold plated fishing rods and I can wax lyrical about the mighty Policansky? A venues guide "shore" and "coarse"?

Oh and Ben - how do I start/post a blog? Yours is very good but doesn't actually involve any fishing?

You can start a blog in your own folder as follows:

        1. Log in
        2. Click on the "my folder" link in the footer.
        3. Click on the "add new" drop down menu on the right of the grey edit bar and select "blog".
        4. Give it a name. Something weird like "Tom's blog" would be good. Fill in a description, but don't fill in the body copy field.
        5. Publish the blog (click the "state: public draft" drop down on the right of the grey edit bar and select "publish").

You have now set up your blog. You must add entries to it as follows.

        1. Go to the blog in "my folder".
        2. Click on the "add new" drop down on the right of the grey menu bar and select "blog entry".
        3. Fill in title, description and the body copy.
        4. Publish (as above).

Your blog entry will now appear in the blogs section of the site.

If you want your folder to appear under your name in the "Members" navigation, then publish the "my folder" page as above.

Thanks Ben - unfortunatley when I go to that drop down there's no "blog" just things like FAQs etc.....

          Probably user error.....

S'possed to be fishing today but it's rather windy....

No, it wasn't user error, it was site manager error. It's fixed now, and you can add blogs as above.
