Very helpful tip

When out on a fishing trip, there are several things you can do to improve your chances of hooking up with a decent fish.

  • Keep refreshing your bait. After 20 minutes in the tide, your lump of squid or mackerel flapper will have a lot less pulling power than a fresh bait.
  • Match your hook size to your bait. If your hook is too big, it makes your bait less appetising. If it's too small the point will get masked and you'll miss bites and drop fish.
  • But most important of all, identify Jonathan and Smed and fish as far away as possible from them on the boat. This way you'll reduce your tangles by 98% and will spend much more time fishing and much less time muttering under your breath and untangling rigs.

This holds the club picture gallery and individual member galleries, if they can be bothered to upload anything, the lazy bastards.
