Big, late autumn bass
With any luck, the water will be clear and it'll be lovely and flat, and we'll be able to head off into the deeps to fish with lures for bass. If that isn't the case, then we have the reliable fallback of spurs and blondes, with shoaling bass on surface lures to keep us busy.
